ELSIEPALOOZA

This section of our website has always been dedicated to our annual fund raiser called "ELISEPALOOZA". We have had this event for the past five years at the home of Robbie and liz Mckenzie. It is in honor and memory of our late mother "Elsie" Delores Mckenzie. She was a wonderful and giving person with her family as well as anyone she met. During her life she touched so many people in such a kind and loving way. Always willing to give a smile a hug or anything she could to whomever she met to let them know they were loved. After her passing the family thought it would be a wonderful way to remember her by holding a musical event that would bring families and friends together for a day of music and fun as well as do something good for the community. For the five years this benefit has been held we have donated over $30.000 and about 3000lbs. of food to local charities. All in the name of our mother and friend. Thanks to everyone who has attended and helped out with this joyful endeavor.

An event like this,while it is so much fun and very rewarding, is also quite a lot of work. That being said, we have decided to take a little break and catch our breath for awhile. I must tell you I feel a little guilty and selfish for making this decision. However, I want you all to know that in a very short time I feel certain that we will be invigorated and ready to restart this wonderful celebration of music and friendship and bring it back better than ever! Keep coming back to this website and before you know it, we will all be making plans for ELSIEPALOOZA 6!!

!! Also, we encourage you all to keep giving to your local charities. Whatever they are. Look into your hearts and realize how blessed you are and try and remember those around you who are less fortunate and need our help and love.
